The Gentleman Trophy title battle will be turned upside-down whatever the result at Spa, as the leading driver line-ups are not competing together at the 24 Hours.
The #458 Rinaldi Corse Ferrari has won every race so far, although while Mattschull and Schmickler have driven at all three rounds and lead the championship on 75 points, Ehret was absent at Silverstone and so sits third in the standings on 50 points.
Second is the #51 AF Corse Ferrari line-up of Barreiros, Guedes and Mann, and they, too have been split up for Spa, with just Guedes and Mann in the car for the 24 Hours, alongside Alexander Talkanitsa and Cedric Mezard.
Fourth in the standings after Ehret is the #49 AF Corse Ferrari crew Mallegol, Bachelier and Blank – the first intact full-season BES driver line-up present at Spa – and they’re joined in the car by Francois Perrodo.
The #42 Sport Garage Ferrari has also joined this class at the last minute, dropping down from Pro-Am.
