Newly elected BRDC member Jann Mardenborough will race this weekend alongside Sir Chris Hoy in the Nissan GT Academy Team RJN Nissan GT-R for Sunday’s 2 hour penultimate round of the British GT Championship around Brands Hatch’s wonderful Grand Prix circuit.
Jann has winning form at Brands having taken the narrowest ever overall win in the Championship back in 2012 as he edged out the charging Beechdean Aston Martin.
He’ll be Hoy’s third different team-mate this season after Wolfgang Reip drove at Spa and Snetterton and Alex Buncombe for the balance of the season.
