News reached DSC earlier today of the passing of another member of the sportscar racing family.
Anne Morel may have made no headlines but her graceful, diplomatic and thoughtful contributions to a number of sportscar programmes as a team liaison is difficult to overstate.
In DSC’s time Anne was particularly connected with RML’s successful Le Mans campaigns, she proved a trusted part of the team’s efforts in taking repeat Le Mans class wins.
Anne finally passed yesterday after an extended illness that few outside her closest circle knew was as serious as it was, even when she again attended Le Mans this year in support of the Nissan ZEOD RC effort.
Anne’s passing will be mourned by all that knew her in the sport, and in particular those who worked with her closely.
