The latest meeting of the FIA World Motorsport Council took place in Doha on Wednesday and came up with a number of conclusions that will be of interest to sportscar fans and observers.

The provisional 2015 Formula One calendar contains a provisional date for a Grand prix in South Korea which would put Nico Hulkenberg’s Spa appearance at risk (the German star is seen below having his first seat fitting in the 99 Hybrid this week), the F1 event though is highly unlikely to go ahead!
The latest iteration of a new, single system for driver categorisation, valid for all disciplines and championships that wish to apply it, has now been published.
