Marshall Pruett reported last week that Michael Shank Racing were to run the twin-turbo Honda V6 in their newly acquired Ligier JS/P2 chassis, the team currently set to be Hondas only representatives in the Prototype category.

The Honda move marks a shift from the expected Ford Ecoboost motor for the team.
MSR took delivery of their chassis last week, this the car that was used by Oak Racing in the 2014 TUSCC (below).
Meanwhile in South Africa the long awaited debut of the Mountune powered Pilbeam MP100 took place in the Phakisa 3 Hours. The car finished the race, albeit after a number of delays.

Millennium Racing have confirmed that their pair of Oreca Nissans have left the team after numerous abortive attempts to join the 2014 FIA WEC grid fell victim to a failure of promised finance to arrive.
The cars are set to be campaigned in the 2015 ELMS by Ibanez Racing Services, a previous Le Mans Series entrant in 2009 with a Courage LC75 LMP2 (below).
