A Tweet this morning from Toyota Motorsport confirmed that their 2015 TS040 has successfully completed its first test and now here are the first pictures of the comprehensively redesigned 2015 Porsche 919 Hybrid:
Full scale testing with the new Porsche starts on Sunday, on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit.
The new Porsche 919 Hybrid has already had its roll-out on the Weissach test track (on 15 December) with a hefty programme of performance and endurance tests to follow before the start of the 2015 FIA WEC at Silverstone on April 12.
The new Porsche 919 Hybrid is a comprehensive evolution of the successful car that made its debut in 2014. It will feature the same drivetrain concept consisting of a 2-litre V4 turbocharged petrol engine, an electric motor powering the front wheels, and two energy recovery systems.
