The Phoenix racing squad have revealed the liveries for their pair of Audi R8 LMS ultras bound for the 2015 Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hours
The #16 car revisits a legendary theme for Audi ‘Down Under’ the ‘Crocodile’ livery recalling the original Audi R8 LMP900 that contested the ‘Race of 1000 Years’ in 2000 around the streets of Adelaide.
With Rene Rast stepping back to join the Audi factory LMP1 squad there’s a reshuffle amongst the driver squads with Laurens Vanthoor switching from the ‘Croc’ car to the #15 ‘Kangaroo’ liveried R8 LMS ultra.
He’ll be joined in the #15 by Markus Winkelhock and Marco Mapelli whilst his seat in the #16 will be filled by GT racing legend Stephane Ortelli who will join Felix Baumgartner and Christopher Haase.
