2014 British GT (GT4) runner-up Andrew Jarman is making a high speed move up to GT3 in 2015 with Aston Martin Racing Partner Team, TF Sport after announcing a title sponsorship deal with high-speed rail operator, Eurostar, for the 2015 season.

With a distinctive race car livery based on the new Eurostar e320 design, Andrew will also carry the Eurostar logo across his overalls, race helmet and crew team kit along with a number of exciting initiatives planned on and off-track throughout the season for the Eurostar business.

Eurostar recently unveiled its new train, the e320, which has a top speed of up to 198.9mph (320KPH), pretty close to that of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 Andrew will be driving this season.

Andrew Jarman: “I am thrilled to welcome Eurostar onboard as my title sponsor for this season and I’m extremely proud to be representing such an iconic brand as part of my graduation to the GT3 category. I would like to thank Eurostar for giving me this opportunity and welcome them to sportscar racing.

“After narrowly missing out on the GT4 title last year, I am looking forward to the challenge ahead and delighted to be staying with the Aston Martin Racing family and Official Partner Team TF Sport for a second season. The British GT Championship is one of the best in the world and the driver line up this year looks even stronger; you always want to manage expectations but at this level you have to go into a season with one goal, to win and that’s the aim for this year.”
Jarman will be joined in the car by Jody Fannin, the 2012 British GT4 Champion, Jody was made a BRDC (British Racing Drivers’ Club) Rising Star as he graduated to the world stage in the Blancpain Endurance Series in 2013.
The IWI Watches Ambassador had his first experience of a GT3 Aston Martin in a test at Portimao, Portugal early last year and the 21-year old from Surrey has worked hard at sourcing the right opportunity to race the car, particularly after winning in TF Sport colours on the International GT Open’s visit to Silverstone.
“The past couple of seasons have been frustrating, as they have mainly consisted of one-off outings in various championships in Europe and the UK, but we’ve worked hard to put this together and I’m really looking forward to entering a full season,” said Fannin. “This is a really good opportunity, especially as I’ll be partnered with Andrew (Jarman), who did a good job in GT4 in 2014. It’s a tough field, but we hope to run at the sharp end.”
TF Sport Director, Tom Ferrier, said: “I am delighted to have signed Andrew (Jarman) and Jody (Fannin) for the 2015 Avon Tyres British GT Championship. Having worked with both drivers in the past, I know their capabilities and I’m sure they will prove to be a very strong force in the Eurostar-backed Aston Martin V12 Vantage, alongside our existing British GT pairing of Derek (Johnston) and Matt (Bell). It’s a step in the right direction for TF Sport and the team and I cannot wait to get started!”
