Tequila Patron ESM will receive their new Ligier chassis, replacing their withdrawn HPD Coupes, in time for the second round of the 2015 FIA WEC at Spa in May. The team are set to use their existing HPD ARX 03b cars for the season opener at Silverstone next month.
Rollcentre Racing’s Martin Short was a visitor to the Team LNT pit this morning, taking a look at the Ginetta Nissan LMP3. More later on the proposed roll-out of customer Ginettas after what has been, thus far, a very successful test.
As noted elsewhere on DSC the covers were taken off the first SMP Racing BR01 Coupe this morning. The car is not yet complete with homologation and testing required before the team confirm a Silverstone debut.
DSC believes that a second brand of LMP3 car is set to make a European Le Mans Series debut before the end of the 2015 season.
