Team LNT Give LMP3 Ginetta Nissan A 24 Hour Race Debut

Ginetta show no sign of a lack of ambition – Having written a page in sportscar racing history last weekend with a 5 car, all Ginetta entry for the first ever LMP3 class race within an action packed ELMS encounter the news is now filtering out of a first entry into a 24 Hour race for the new Ginetta Nissan.

Team LNT will enter a single car at next weekend’s Dunlop Silverstone 24 Hours with the provisional entry list showing Ginetta CEO Lawrence Tomlinson as a driver alongside the two full season ELMS Team LNT lineups of Mike Simpson and Nissan GT Academy winner Gaetan Patelou and Silverstone winners Sir Chris Hoy and Charlie Robertson.

It marks a second ‘first’ for Team LNT and Ginetta at the Silverstone 24 Hours after their 2010 class win with a Ginetta G40 that was driven from the Garforth factory, raced to the win and was then driven back!

The Ginetta Nissans will race next at Imola in round two of the ELMS with a sixth car due to join the Silverstone quintet as Scuderia Villorba Corse join the grid before the Team LNT cars score another ‘first’ as they take to the hallowed Le Mans circuit for the 31 May Test Day.
