The entry list for this weekend’s Blancpain Endurance Series encounter at Silverstone seems a number of interesting changes.
Jann Mardenborough is an addition to the #22 Nissan GT Academy Team RJN Pro-Am line up, he replaces Florian Strauss for this race.
Bruno Senna is cup tied with Formula E in Berlin this weekend so Nicolas Lapierre steps in as part of the #59 von Ryan Racing McLaren crew in Pro Cup.
A very late change sees late addition Tristan Vautier step out of the AKKA ASP line-up after a last minute call up for Indy 500 duty, the Mazda factory driver had already qualified the Dale Coyne Racing car of Always Evolving Nissan man James Davison (the Aussie on PWC duty) and now steps into the sister #18 car after the planned drive for Carlos Huertas came to naught with a medical issue for the Colombian.
Rather oddly the change means that the final row of the Indy grid will be an all sportswear racer affair with Davison and Vautier joined by Corvette Racing man Ryan Briscoe, himself a late replacement for the injured James Hinchcliffe
