Next weekend’s SRO-co-promoted Sepang 12 Hours sees a number of significant European teams travelling for the final long-haul flyaway of the year to Malaysia.
The 26 car entry features 14 GT3 runners including GT Asia runners Clearwater Racing (a Ferrari for regular driver Mok Weng Sun supported by factory trio Gimmi Bruni, James Calado and Matt Griffin) FF Racing (a pair of McLaren 650S GT3 with one car featuring Alvaro Parente on the squad), Audi Hong Kong, and Team AAI (Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3).
The European heavy hitters include a full effort from Bentley Team M-Sport with a two car Bentley Continental GT3 entry, and Audis from both Phoenix Racing and WRT.
The race will see extensive live TV coverage, now including Australia with Fox Sports Australia confirming they will carry race coverage, plus a livestream of the race is also available on the official websites www.sepang12hours.com and www.blancpain-gt-series.com.
Track action starts on Thursday December 10th, with both free practice sessions. On Friday there is a final free practice session, followed by the qualifying session and the top-15 shootout. The start of the Sepang 12 Hours will be given on Saturday at noon, with the finish at midnight.
