US road racing legend Jack Baldwin will make his debut in the Maserati Trofeo season finale next week at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The event will not only be Baldwin’s first time driving the world-class Yas Marina Circuit, but also will be his first time piloting a Maserati GranTurismo MC yet another debut with a 50 year career including SCCA, IMSA, Trans Am, Grand Am, ALMS, HSR, NASCAR, IROC and Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) already on the cv!
“The opportunity arose to participate in this event and I jumped at it,” said Baldwin. “GTSport Racing is looking at all of our options for GTS in 2016 and the Maserati program is very enticing. I am excited to get behind the wheel of the car and really see what it can do.”
