Phoenix Racing and KCMG are joining current ‘service partners’ Absolute Racing for the 2016 season of the Audi R8 LMS Cup.
Ingo Matter’s Absolute Racing outfit has ben fielding the Asian ‘Cup’ spec R8s since the series began in 2012 but will now be joined in the marketplace by Ernst Moser’s Team Phoenix Racing . Former Cup winner Marchy Lee will be integrated into the organization of new offshoot Phoenix Racing Asia.
Paul Ip’s Le Mans 24 Hours LMP2 class winning KCMG, based in Hong Kong has the 2015 Formula Masters China Series also to its credit.
