No major surprises in the 13 car Prototype entry for next weekend’s Roar Before the Daytona 24 Hours test.
The list confirms that the DeltaWing Coupe is set to return for what is expected at present to be a one-off effort. Sean Rayhall and Andreas Wirth Jon team regulars Katherine Legge and Andy Meyrick in the #0 machine.
As expected Pipo Derani makes his debut for the Tequila Patron ESM squad at the test. Will this be the last appearance of the HPD engine for the team?
The #37 BR01 Nissan is fielded by SMP racing (see below for the GTLM plan for the squad too) Mikhail Aleshin looks set to make the Rolex 24 what might be a final appearance for the sportscar arm of the team for a while ahead of his IndyCar programme with Vitaly Petrov due to anchor one of the full season WEC cars. Messrs Mediani, Minassian and Kirill Ladygin complete the test foursome.
The #50 Highway to Help Riley BMW returns again for their regular charitable outing, the team assisted this year by Starworks rather than Doran Racing. Ex Jetalliance Aston Martin DBR9 racer (and car owner) Thomas Gruber joins in the fun.

An eight car LMPC entry for the test sees a pair of Starworks entries added to the mix.
Mirco Schultis has moved on but team regulars Alex Popow and Renger van de Zande are joined by Jack Hawksworth and full season ESM man in the 2016 FIA WEC Chris Cumming in the #8 car.
The sister #88 sees 2015 FIA GT World Cup winner Maro Engel joined by Sean Johnston and Mark Kvamme for the test.
BAR1 are another 2 car Daytona entry. The #20 car sees Johnny Mowlem return to the team, the Brit named alongside team owner Brian Alder and Marc Drumwright whilst Ryan Eversley anchors the team’s #26 entry alongside Adam Merzon and Don Yount.
The #52 PR1/ Mathiasen and #54 Core entries are as previously announced.
The #38 Performance Tech entry lists only James French at present whilst the #85 JDC/ Miller car sees Mikhail Goikhberg and Chris Miller joined by Stephen Simpson and Kenton Koch.
