SRO has announced the dates in which the newly named Blancpain GT Sports Club and Blancpain Ultracar Sports Club will be held:
9th-10th April – Misano – Blancpain GT Sports Club
07th-08th May – Brands Hatch – Blancpain GT Sports Club & Blancpain Ultracar Sports Club
25th-26th June – Circuit Paul Ricard – Blancpain GT Sports Club & Blancpain Ultracar Sports Club
29th-30th July – Total 24 Hours of Spa – Blancpain GT Sports Club
01st-02nd October – Barcelona – Blancpain GT Sports Club & Blancpain Ultracar Sports Club
Both clubs made debuted last year solely under the SRO name at select Blancpain events, but strengthened ties between the Swiss watch brand and SRO mean they will be run in partnership with Blancpain going forward.
The GT Sports Club sees Bronze drivers compete in GT3 sprint races separate from the main GT series, while the Ultracar Sports Club brings the most exclusive road cars in the world to their natural habitat: the racetrack, for demos.
All calendar dates are on confirmed Blancpain GT dates. This means the Blancpain Sprint Cup round at Brands Hatch as a prime example will feature not only the GT Cup on the support bill, but another GT3 series in the GT Sports Club; great value for fans who attend.
