Paul Loup Chatin has joined the Panis Barthez Competition effort, the 2014 newcomer of the year from ELMS competition is named alongside Fabien Barthez and Timothe Buret in the Team’s LMP2 Ligier.
Bert Longin was a very welcome addition to the Race Performance LMP3 Ligier roster, “I’ve been racing in Euro NASCAR and Belcar but this looks very, very cool,” said the Belgian ex FIA GT stand-out.
Another man very happy to be in an LMP car was Olivier Lombard, the 2011 Le Mans Series Champion and Le Mans winner in LMP2 has been out of ACO rules racing for a while but prepped for this return with a full season of CN racing in VdeV last year.
“Our plan with the new team (SO24!) is to move up to the WEC when we feel the time is right, that could be as early as next year if this season goes where we want t to.”
Hugh Chamberlain has appeared at Murphy Prototypes tasked with managing the LMP3 car, a Ginetta confirmed until the debut of the Ave Riley at Imola.
