Jesse Krohn will make his Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup debut at Brands Hatch this weekend. The Finnish driver will replace Nick Catsburg in the #98 Rowe Racing BMW M6 because of calendar clashes.
25-year-old Jesse Krohn, BMW Junior Driver of the year in 2014, started his career in single seaters, but switched to GT racing in 2011. Having raced in several junior formula in the UK, Krohn has plenty of experience at Brands Hatch.
“We are looking forward to working with BMW Motorsport Junior Jesse Krohn for the first time,” said team principal Hans-Peter Naundorf. “We have heard many good things about him so far.
At Misano, the #98 finished 10th in the Qualifying race and a lowly 29th in the Main Race.
This driver change comes after Garage 59 confirmed that Côme Ledogar would sub-in for Craig Dolby yesterday.
