Former Le Mans winner Martin Brundle is out testing the United Autosports Ligier LMP3 that he will drive in the Road to Le Mans race next month today at Snetterton. United Autosports’ twitter account confirmed that run at the Norfolk-based circuit is his first in its LMP3 car.
As was confirmed earlier this month, Brundle will be making his one off appearance in the race, which will take place in the build up to the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours.
The Road to Le Mans race will consist of LMP3 cars and the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup entrants. While the race is a one-off for the LMP3 teams, it acts as the second of the GT3 Le Mans Cup’s six-round season. It’s inaugural race took place last weekend in Imola supporting the European Le Mans Series.
