Slovakian GT3 team Racing Trevor – which regularly competes in the ESET V4 Cup Endurance Series, is set to enter the International GT Open for its round at Budapest this weekend.
The team – which currently sits second in the ESET GT3 class standings – will race with its BMW M6 GT3 in the Pro-Am class. Driving the car will be the father-son duo of Jirí and Christian Malchárek.
Jirí, a former Slovakian politician – the Minister of Economy – has raced previously in the FIA GT and tested for Minardi F1.
Christian meanwhile, has raced in Formula Renault 2.0 and the NASCAR EuroSeries.
