Mitchell & Schjerpen Added To Century GT4 Line-Up

Collard to stand in at Oulton

Century Motorsport has filled the two seats for its second British GT-bound BMW M4 GT4, ahead of the opening round of the season at Oulton Park this weekend.

Driving its second M4 will be Jack Mitchell, who has previous experience racing with the team in the Ginetta SuperCup and Dubai 24H, and Aleksander Schjerpen, a team regular since 2014.

While Mitchell is set to contest the entire seven-round season, Schjerpen will only manage to compete in six. Schjerpen will not be racing this weekend at Oulton, and instead will be replaced by BMW junior driver Ricky Collard.

“It’s great to have filled the second GT4 BMW with such a strong driver pairing,” said Century team principal Nathan Freke. “Having worked with both drivers previously, it gives us a good head start and I know that they will work well together.

“Jack drove the car at the media day and impressed in it straight away. Aleks will be new to it, but having worked with him since 2014, I know he will adapt well.

“It’s going to be an exciting season. It’s been a long winter and we are all hungry for success!”

Mitchell and Schjerpen will share the team’s #43 M4, while the previously-confirmed pairing of Ben Green and Ben Tuck will drive the team’s #42 car.

With this news, every seat is now filled for the opening round of the season. The full entry list can be found HERE >>.
