Once again the estimable, erudite Santa lookalike John Brooks has dipped into his expansive archive and come up with the historical perspective to the coming weekend’s California 8 Hours at Laguna Seca.
20 years ago the FIA GT Championship staged its season finale at the track, with a packed grid of GT1 and GT2 machinery, featuring big name factories and big name drivers. Brooksie’s lens was there to capture it, and his pen was too.
