The 2019/20 Asian Le Mans Series will visit South Australia’s The Bend Motorsport Park from 10-12 January 2020 as part of the 2019/20 calendar.
The date was agreed at a meeting in Adelaide this week between Sam Shahin from The Bend Motorsport Park, and Cyrille Taesch Wahlen the Managing Director of the Asian Le Mans Series.
The Series announced their intentions to add The Bend’s full 7.7 km course to their schedule last month – DSC Story here
The date replaces the slot held until this year by Buriram in Thailand though there is, as yet, no final decision on whether the Thai race will move elsewhere, replacing another current venue.
DSC believes that the current plan is to retain a four round calendar for next season.the
