Andy Wallace has clocked 304.77 mph… Almost 500 kph in a Bugatti Chiron at the Ehra-Lessien test track in Germany.
1988 Le Mans winner Wallace set the record on 2 August as part of the test programme for the pre-production variant of the 1500 bhp-engined Chiron.
Andy has been a key part of the test and development team at Bugatti for some years through the latter years of the Veyron and from the very start of the Chiron project.
