The provisional entry for this Saturday’s NLS2 shows a healthy 147 cars listed for what will be the season-opener for the Nurburgring Nordschleife Endurance Series.
The 4-hour NIMEX 45. DMV 4-Stunden-Rennen will see an entry down on numbers for the premier SP9 class, the race clashing with the GT World Challenge Europe season opener at Monza, but with a substantial numbers boost to the supporting classes from the intended NLS 1 entry.
The 20 car SP9 entry (down from 28 for NLS1) sees no cars from Haupt Racing on the list, the Mercedes AMG squad are racing at Monza, as are the also absent FFF Racing team.
But there is a Ferrari added for the WTM/ Phoenix squad, Phoenix also fielding a pair of Audis under their own banner with Nicki Thiim listed aboard the #11 Pro class car.
Amongst the supporting classes are, again, a number of names that stand out with ex Bentley Boy and British GT Champion Seb Morris and ex British GT GT4 Champ Will Tregurtha in the Walkenhorst/ Purple Dot BMW M2 CS Competition amongst the notables.
And yes the Foxtail Manta (and the Dacia Logan) are both entered!
