Bullitt Racing Set To Bring Aston Martin To Asian Le Mans, Gulf 12 Hours & Le Mans Cup

Bullitt Racing has announced a new partnership with Aston Martin Racing that will see the Marbella-based outfit field Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 cars in Asian Le Mans, Michelin Le Mans Cup and the Gulf 12 Hours in 2022 at the start of an ambitious five-year plan.

Bullitt Racing is now a registered Official Agent for Aston Martin Racing and will be marketing and selling race vehicles on their behalf in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as managing track days and other activities.

The race team will compete in the forthcoming Asian Le Mans Series taking place in February in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and is also aiming to take part in the Gulf 12 Hours in January at Yas Marina.

Heading into the summer programme, Bullitt Racing will run two Aston Martin Vantage GT3s in the seven-round Michelin Le Mans Cup, the feeder series to European Le Mans Series.

One of the team’s cars for 2022 is understood to be the car campaigned successfully by the AMR factory team to victory in the NLS at the Nurburgring earlier this year.

In addition, and subject to driver opportunities, the team will also compete in selected rounds of the Creventic 24 Hour series including Portimao and Barcelona, as well as comprehensive testing throughout the season.

Further details, including driver signings, will be confirmed shortly.

Steffan Pattrick, Team Manager: “We’re all excited about the season ahead, the first year of what we consider to be a five-year plan to grow the team. We’re not just back with a new project, but we’re back with a detailed, fully-costed and exciting race programme to take us through the coming seasons of International GT Racing with an iconic, winning brand.

“Our team slogan is ‘more than just a race team’ and this project underlines this racing philosophy perfectly. We always look at the best in the business, that’s how we measure ourselves and we’ll strive to match them, and in time, become the strongest in our chosen category.”

Pre-COVID, Bullitt, who have been racing with GT4 machinery in the recent past, had planned to field a Bentley GT3 in Le Mans Cup, their current plans though are at a significantly more comprehensive level.
