2014 FIA WEC World Drivers Champion Ant Davidson and 2018/19 World Champion and three times Le Mans 24 Hours winner Kazuki ‘Kaz’ Nakajima have both announced that they will step back from driving in the FIA WEC after this weekend’s 8 Hours of Bahrain.
For Davidson it will be an end to his pro driving career, for Nakajima there may well be other racing to come, but for both the decisions mark the end of significant careers in sportscar racing on the global level.
