Toni Vilander looks set to return for a full season of the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2022 with AF Corse in a GTE AM Ferrari squad together with 2021 GT2 European Series Am Champion Christophrich also set to Ulrich and Simon Mann.
Vilander last contested a full season in the FIA WEC in 20215 when he finished the season as runner up in GTE Pro with Gianmaria Bruni after taking the Drivers title with Bruni the previous year.
Swiss gentleman driver Ulrich and US-licensed, dual nationality, three times Italian GT Champion Mann are testing the #52 AF Corse GTE Pro car at the Rookie test today at Bahrain International Circuit, this, the car that looks set to be the full season car for the effort next season.
