TF Sport have confirmed the driver crew for the first of multiple entries that the habitually title-winning team will bring to the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series in the UAE in February.
Following on from their first GT3 announcement for 2022, the 24 Hours of Dubai (with Duel Racing), TF Sport will remain in the UAE for all four rounds of the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series.
The team’s first entry will consist of multiple GT3 champion Ahmad Al Harthy, British GT champion Sam De Haan and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Charlie Eastwood, in the freshly livered #69 Vantage GT3 and run under the Oman Racing with TF Sport banner.
Both Al Harthy and Eastwood have knowledge of the Championship and its tracks, albeit in sister cars, from the beginning of the 2021 season, however De Haan will make his debut with the series and at Yas Marina Circuit after racing with the team in GT Open in 2021.
TF Sport will announce the driver line-up for their second Aston Martin Vantage GT3 entry in due course.
In addition, the relationship with D’station Racing will expand into the Asian Le Mans Series, TF Sport will again provide support to the Japanese entry with their GT3 programme.
The 2022 Asian Le Mans Series begins at the Dubai Autodrome with the championship’s double- helping of the ‘4 Hours of Dubai’, on February 11-12. All teams will then head to Abu Dhabi where Yas Marina Circuit will host the remaining two ‘4 Hours of Abu Dhabi’ rounds.
All four races will be streamed live and for free on the Asian Le Mans Series YouTube channel.
