Magnus Racing will contest the four IMSA endurance races in 2022 with a return to an in-house team and a switch from Acura to Aston Martin machinery.
The team are testing today at Daytona International Speedway with their new Vantage GT3 after switching post Petit Le Mans from the Acura NSX GT3 Evo and from a race team service agreement with Archangel Motorsport.
The Aston Martin platform, and a switch of teams, sees a third different GTD car (and team structure) in as many seasons after 202 was spent in a GRT-run Lamborghini Huracan and 2021 in the Archangel-operated Acura.
