Newly launched ISR Team Italia is set to contest the 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS.
The team will field two Audi R8 LMS in the Sprint and Endurance series with driver squads to be revealed shortly.
The new outfit follows on from a successful collaboration between Audi Sport Italia team boss Ferdinando Geri and ISR Racing in the Italian GT 2021 Championship.
The team will have the first chance to get on track at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia on December 7-8 on the occasion of the collective tests organized by Audi Sport.
Igor Salaquarda, the Technical Director, has prior experience in both the Blancpain GT Series and then ADAC GT Masters leading the ISR Racing team with Audi machinery (pictured top).
