In 2021, he again paired with Hawksworth to score six top-five results, including a win in the sprint race at Watkins Glen plus a further pair of podiums.

Montecalvo took his first IMSA win at Road America in 2020 and his first IMSA poles at Sebring and Road Atlanta). In 2021, his #12  Lexus RC F GT3 took four top-five finishes, including three podiums, a third-place finish at Petit Le Mans and seconds at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and in the Watkins Glen International sprint race.

Heistand returns to Vasser Sullivan after driving for the team in 2019 taking pole at Mid-Ohio and partnering Jack Hawksworth to wins at Mid-Ohio and Detroit.
