Ex Super GT and Japanese Super Formula Champion and Formula E podium finisher Nick Cassidy has joined AF Corse for the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship.
Cassidy will replace Giancarlo Fisichella in the VistaJet-backed #54 GTE Am Ferrari alongside the returning Thomas Flohr and Francesco Castellacci.
It’s an interesting signing as AF Corse and Ferrari ramp-up their Le Mans Hypercar programme due to race in 2023.
The two other AF Corse GTE AM Ferraris will see Simon Mann, Christoph Ulrich and Toni Vilander board the #21 with Franck Dezoteux and Pierre Ragues confirmed in the #71.
