Speed Factory Join Prototype Cup Germany

Ex ELMS entrants Speed Factory Racing, from Lithuania, are the latest team to register an LMP3 entry for the full 2022 season of the Prototype Cup Germany with a Ligier JS P320

Speed Factory Racing team was established in 2006 by Lithuanian rally driver Dalius Steponavicius. Located in Spain, Valencia, the team flies the Lithuanian flag.

With multiple championship wins in Radical European Masters from 2006 until 2014, the team were early adopters of the LMP3 category in 2015, where they finished third in the championship with a Ginetta LMP3. Between 2016-2019 the team ran a pair of Ligier LMP3 cars in ELMS, VdeV, Ultimate Cup, as well as Audi TCR in selected Creventic 24H Series races, and took third place in the 2021 European GT2 Championship with a Porsche GT2 RS CS.

Dalius Steponavicius: “I’m happy to announce our full season entry to the new German Prototype Championship. It is a very emotional feeling to return to German circuits after such a long time. We will try to share our experience with drivers debuting in this category and help to open doors in to prototype racing world.”

The team will announce their driver line-up in due course.
