The latest in the series of videos putting the spotlight on some of the modern historics up for sale currently at BBM Sport, available for the 2022 Masters Endurance legends – focuses on the 2011 Lola B11/43 Spider.
This car, LMP2 winner at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2011 is believed to be the very last open topped LMP car constructed by Lola, before the company went into liquidation the following year.
This car was one of three Lolas, the other two being closed top B11/83 ‘Coupes’ obtained by Level 5 Motorsports for their multiple race programmes in North America and Europe for the 2011 season.
It took the class win at Sebring with Ryan Hunter Reay, Luis Diaz and the currently indisposed Scott Tucker.
