Osborne & Moss Bring Optimum McLaren For British GT Guest Entry At Silverstone 500

After starting their season earlier this year with their two-week, four-race Asian Le Mans Series campaign, Nick Moss and Joe Osborne return to racing on home soil as they enter the Intelligent Money British GT Championship for the Silverstone 500.

Joe and Nick will combine again in an Optimum Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 to compete in the championship’s signature event.

British GT’s third round, the Silverstone 500, will feature three hours of racing around Britain’s Home of Motorsport against at least 18 other GT3 entries.

2022 sees the strong Pro-Am duo focusing on a full season of GT Open together, where the pairing has finished third place in the class championship in each of the European series’ last two seasons respectively.

Joe Osborne: “The Silverstone 500 is super exciting for so many reasons! One being teamed up with Nick I know what a strong job he can do, so that means we’ve got a decent chance of a mega result.

“The McLaren 720S GT3 has gone well at Silverstone and it’s my home race. I’ve not raced in the UK for a few years so I’m excited to get going.”

Shaun Goff, Team Principal: “This year’s British GT field looks as strong as ever, although we haven’t raced in the championship since Silverstone last year, the driver’s and team aim as always is to go and win. The team is also targeting to be back in British GT full time having spent 9 consecutive years in the championship, 2023 we aim to return with both GT3 and GT4 full-season entries.”
