The #42 GTD class NTE/SSR Lamborghini of Jaden Conwright and Corey Lewis has withdrawn from this weekend’s IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship race at Mid-Ohio with the team unable to secure sufficient funding to participate in the event.
A statement on behalf of the team makes clear that the team still intends on participating in future 2022 IMSA events.
NTE/SSR also missed out on a planned outing at Long Beach following a haulier accident but scored a sixth-place class finish at Laguna Seca.
