Yesterday ORECA delivered Oreca 07 Chassis #100 to Cool Racing. With no chassis #13 that is 99 chassis delivered thus far with more in the pipeline!
Here we take look back at all of the teams that have run the cars since their debut in 2017 – As Oreca, Alpine and Aurus LMP2s and as Acura DPis.
The cars have raced in the FIA WEC, IMSA, ELMS and Asian Le Mans Series.
Orecas have won every title in all of those Series since 2017, have taken every class win at the Le Mans 24 Hours since 2017, and class wins too at every major endurance race that the cars are eligible for. Along the way, there has been a second place overall at Le Mans, and back-to-back IMSA titles for the Acura DPi.
Remarkably, 27 of the 54 teams listed here have won at least one race in LMP2, LMP2 Pro-Am, Dpi or IMSA’s combined Prototype class since 2017.
