The #55 Spirit of Race Ferrari is a withdrawal for the second consecutive race, on this occasion after Duncan Cameron tested positive for COVID-19. Get well soon Duncan, we’ll see you in 2023!
The #32 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari will contest the season finale with just a 2 man crew after Pierre Ehret was forced to withdraw at very late notice with medical issues, Bronze rated Diego Alessi and Silver ranked Nico Varrone will crew the #32.
Spanish racer Santiago Concepcion Serrano replaces Mark Richards in the #6 360 Racing Ligier – The Silver-ranked Spanish driver raced previously for Eurointernational in the ELMS and for Speed Factory in Prototype Cup Germany.
Rui Andrade is the latest driver to join the Duqueine Team LMP2 effort, he joins full-season drivers Richard Bradley and Memo Rojas.

Jack Aitken led Free Practice 1 on Friday Morning on his return to the #34 Racing Team Turkey squad after missing the Spa ELMS round, a 1:32.592, two tenths clear of Pietro Fittipaldi in the #43 Inter Europol Oreca with Mathias Beche again at the sharp end a further tenth back in the #31 TDS Racing x Vaillante machine.
Guillaume Oliviera topped LMP3 in the #13 Inter Europol Ligier JS P320 with a 1:37.704 just edging out Malthe Jakobsen (#17 Cool racing) and Kay van Berlo (#3 United Autosports)
Cool Racing’s Malthe Jakobsen and United Autosports driver Kay van Berlo were second and third, within the same tenth of a second as the pacesetter.
Jonny Adam put the #95 Oman Racing by TF Sport Aston Martin on top in GTE with a 1:41.352 just under a tenth clear of Martin Rump in the #18 Absolute Racing Porsche 911 RSR-19 with the #32 and #33 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 488 GTE Evos third and fourth fastest.
