Prema Team took the race win and ELMS Championship at Portimao yesterday in a race that saw a standout performance from French teenager Doriane Pin as art of a dominant GTE win of the Iron Dames’ #83 Ferrari.
Today sees the first of three days of post-season testing at the Portuguese circuit with no shortage of new faces and new potential partnerships on display.
One pleasant surprise though was the sight of newly crowned double ELMS Champion Louis Deletraz assisting Doriane Pin in a test in the Championship-winning LMP2 Oreca.
Prema are expected to confirm a two-car FIA WEC LMP2 effort in 2023 as the Italian team prepares a near certain switch with Lamborghini in the Hypercar class in 2024.
