Today, the Super Taikyu Organisation (STO) announced the provisional calendar for the 2023 Eneos Super Taikyu Series powered by Hankook.
Japan’s pro-am endurance championship will again feature a seven-race calendar, headlined by the Fuji Super TEC 24 Hours in the spring.
For 2023, Fuji Speedway will host two championship rounds: In addition to the Fuji 24H on 27-28 May, the historic circuit also gets the season-ending round on 19 November. The Fuji finale is tenatively scheduled to be a four-hour race, pending official confirmation. Fuji will also host the series’ two official test days, on 23 February, and an in-season test to be announced later in the build-up to the Fuji 24H.
The rest of the calendar remains unaltered from 2022: Suzuka Circuit will host the opening round, a five-hour race on 19 March.
Following the Fuji 24h, Sportsland Sugo hosts a pair of three-hour races on 9 July, followed by five-hour single races at Autopolis on 30 July, and Mobility Resort Motegi on 3 September.
Okayama International Circuit will host the sixth round. Their double-header weekend is tentatively scheduled for 15 October, but may be moved back one week to 22 October.
