There’s no shortage of ‘new’ en route in both Europe and North America for 2023 and beyond with this weekend seeing the duo ‘reveal’ of Ferrari’s new LMH HyperCar at Imola, together with public running of the Ferrari 296 GT3.
In addition, though there are other teams making plans for the coming season with preparation and testing underway.
Two that have been spotted by überfan Anthony Florio on social media are worthy of note here:
Turner Motorsport have made it clear that they intend to double up in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship in 2023 with their BMW M4 GT3s – and Anthony spotted an Instagram post with a very familiar-looking livery!

The McKenna Automotive colours were carried for several seasons and to much success by Alex Job Racing Porsches in the American Le Mans Series and at Le Mans.

They look set to return, this time aboard a BMW (McKenna own both Porsche and BMW dealerships), and family member Hutton McKenna has been racing on the support card in both IMSA and SRO packages – as Anthony points out, with a Pirelli logo at the rear of the car, is this livery bound for IMSA, GT World Challenge, or both?
Another great spot on Instagram was several posts of the preparation and testing of an Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 by California-based Cyberdynamic Racing, with the assistance of Valkyrie Racing. The team’s social media presence indicating an intention to campaign in both IMSA and SRO-rules races.
The Acura is confirmed, in a response to Anthony’s post by HPD Junior Factory Driver Ashton Harrison Henry, to be the ex-Compass Racing car.
