Revised Entry List For Bahrain 8 Hours

The FIA WEC has issued a revised entry list ahead of the 2022 season finale, the Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain on 12 November.

The list is still 37 cars strong but features a number of driver changes:

In Hypercar, Nico Müller jumps to the #94 Peugeot TotalEnergies Peugeot 9X8 from the #10 VectorSport Oreca, in place of James Rossiter who has left the team to take up a Formula E Team Principal role.

In LMP2, Renger Van Dan Zande jumps into the seat vacated by Müller in the #10 Vector Sport Oreca.

The #44 ARC Bratislava line-up is now confirmed with Mathias Bêche and Richard Bradley alongside Miroslav Konopka in LMP2. Beche rejoins the team after racing in the #44 at both Sebring and Monza. For Bradley, it is a return to the WEC (aside from Le Mans), for the first time since 2016!

And in GTE Am, the #56 Team Project 1 Porsche 911 RSR-19 sees Ben Barnicoat joined by Americans Phillip (PJ) Hyatt and Gunnar Jeannette, the pair are set to join the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship for a full 2023 season with their new AO racing effort in the GTD class with a new Porsche 911 GT3R. It will be Hyett’s WEC debut with Jeannette returning to WEC competition for the first time since Sebring in 2019 when he raced a Larbre Competition Ligier JS P217 LMP2 car.
