Dubai To Host “City of Gold” 4 Hours In December

The Dubai Autodrome will host the inaugural “City of Gold” 4 Hours race, a two-day race meeting, on 17-18 December 2022.

The race will complete a double-header in the United Arab Emirates paired with the Gulf 12 Hours at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on 11 December.

With only 100km separating the two circuits, cars competing in the Gulf 12 Hours can easily make the one-hour journey to Dubai, joining other competitors for an event which is open to a wide range of GT machinery, such as GT3, GT4 and Cup entrants.

Race organisers Driving Force Events will complete a trio of Gulf-based events at Bahrain International Circuit with the inaugural “Bahrain ProAm 1000” (the first major international race in which Pro driver line-ups are not permitted) which takes place on 27-28 January 2023.

The City of Gold 4 Hours will be supported by a round of the newly relaunched TCR Middle East Series, which also features on the timetable of the Gulf 12 Hours and Bahrain ProAm 1000 events.
