The #53 MDK Porsche has made a late switch to the GTD Pro case from GTD.
The #53 Porsche 911 GT3R (992) makes it ten cars in the Pro class, and reduces the GTD class to 23 runners in the 61 car field for Saturday’s race.
MDK will run with Jan Magnussen, Trenton Estep, Mark Kvamme and Jason Hart, the latter a late replacement for Kevin Magnussen.
The switch allows the team to restrict the minimum driving hours for their Bronze-ranked driver (Mark Kvamme) to 2 hours.
The Porsche is the second car to switch from GTD after the TGM by TF Sport Aston Martin switched prior to the Roar test.
