TechSport Racing will be the first American customer team to field the new Nissan Z GT4, beginning this season in the Pirelli GT4 America series.
The team from Alton, Virginia will run two of Nissan’s new Z GT4s next season, with support from Z1 Motorsports, a Georgia-based specialty distributor of parts for Nissan Z-cars. Drivers for the two-car effort will be announced at a later date.
“We are thrilled to be the first customer team to run the new Z GT4 car in competition in the United States,” said team owner Kevin Anderson. “The car combines the best of the previous-generation Z with the latest design and engineering upgrades. Nissan has absolutely nailed the look and function of this car. It is a masterpiece.“

Since 2018, TechSport Racing had run the previous-generation Nissan 370Z in TC America (and previously, the TCA class of Pirelli World Challenge).
TechSport Racing will have a presence across multiple SRO Motorsports Group America championships: In addition to their new GT4 America programme, they will also field two cars in the new Toyota GR86 Cup, for reigning TC America TCA champion Gresham Wagner, and newcomer Spike Kohlbecker. Wagner, Devin Anderson, and Shaoyi Che will also return to drive TechSport’s fleet of Subaru BRZs in TCA.
