Toyota, Honda, and Nissan have already confirmed their lineups months in advance of today’s entry list announcement.
A fleet of four Nissan Z GT500s will retain the same driver line-ups as last season. Defending GT500 Drivers Champions, Kazuki Hiramine and Bertrand Baguette, will defend their championships at Team Impul driving the newly-rechristened #1 Marelli Impul Z, while Katsumasa Chiyo and Mitsunori Takaboshi will have new sponsorship from the former NGK, soon to become Niterra, for NDDP Racing.
Honda enter five cars, in the final year of service for the second-generation NSX-GT. ARTA and M-TEC will together field two cars under the ARTA banner, the #8 ARTA Mugen NSX-GT for Tomoki Nojiri and Toshiki Oyu, and the #16 for Nirei Fukuzumi and Hiroki Otsu. Kakunoshin Ohta will be the only GT500 rookie stepping up from GT300, partnering Takuya Izawa at Modulo Nakajima Racing.

Six Toyota GR Supra GT500s have entered, including the #36 au TOM’s GR Supra for Sho Tsuboi and Ritomo Miyata, and the #37 Deloitte TOM’s GR Supra for Toyota Gazoo Racing newcomer Ukyo Sasahara alongside Giuliano Alesi.
Bridgestone will supply tyres to ten GT500 teams including the two cars from ARTA. Michelin will continue a long-standing exclusive partnership with NISMO, supplying tyres to the flagship #23 Motul Autech Z of Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli and their sister team NDDP Racing. Yokohama will continue to be represented by longtime clients TGR Team WedsSport Bandoh and Kondo Racing, while Modulo Nakajima Racing will be the sole GT500 client for Dunlop (Sumitomo Rubber) in 2023.
