Ceccato Racing To Make World Challenge Europe Debut In Monza

M4 GT3 entered for the season opener

Italian team Ceccato Racing will participate in the first round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with a BMW M4 GT3 and drivers Marco Cassarà, Stefano Comandini, and Francesco Guerra as a one-off entry.

The team, registered as BMW Italia Ceccato Racing Team, will compete in the Pro-Am category and carry the #15, the same number that team manager Roberto Ravaglia won the 1989 DTM title with.

For Comandini, this will be a welcome return to the series, as he also participated in the 2013 and 2014 seasons, obtaining a nice Pro-Am victory at Monza in the latter.

It will be a debut for Marco Cassarà, while Francesco Guerra will continue his experience after a 2021 campaign in the GT4 European Series in support of GT World Challenge Europe.

This experience will help Ceccato Racing prepare for its main programme in 2023 in the Italian GT Championship. That campaign is set to get underway at Misano on May 5th.
