Saintéloc confirms GT4 drivers

After wining the Silver Cup Drivers and Teams titles in the 2022 GT4 European Series, Saint-Etienne-based Audi customer team Saintéloc Racing has confirmed the final drivers for its 2023 campaign, which will see it compete with a trio of R8 LMS GT4s.

In addition to the previously-announced duo of Grégory Guilvert and Christophe Hamon in Pro-Am in the #42 Audi, Saintéloc welcomes back Cyril Saleilles for a full programme. Cyril, who raced for Saintéloc Racing between 2020 and 2021 and will be joined by another team regular, Anthony Beltoise, two-time FFSA GT champion. The duo will drive the #14 Audi

In the team’s third car Frenchman Paul Petit will be joined by Spaniard Marc Lopez in the #67 R8 LMS GT4.

“Saintéloc Racing is delighted to be back in the GT4 European Series, in an increasingly competitive field,” says GT4 team manager Aurélie Kirmann

“The entry list shows that the competition will be tough. This makes this new season even more exciting, but we have the crews to perform well. We have some of our regulars back, while others are making their return and we are also looking forward to work with our new recruits. It’s going to be an exciting season, we’re very motivated and we’re looking forward to Monza.”

AGS adds third Aston to GT4 European Series grid

AGS Events Racing has increased its commitment to the GT4 European Series this year, with the late addition of a third Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4.

When the entry list was revealed for the full-season last week, just two AGS Astons featured. Since then the team has added a third car for the year, ensuring it has a car entered in all three classes.

The team now adds its #68 Vantage to complete a season entry, as Julien Lambert and Romano Ricci head into the new season aiming for wins in Am.

“Honestly, it can’t get any better than this!” Lambert says. “Driving for Nico’s team at AGS, and teaming up for that with Romano, it really is unbelievable for me. We’re all close friends and together we want to aim for success in our Am-class this season. I can not wait to get it started, it looks very promising indeed!”

Team Land confirms Nordschleife plans

Audi Sport Team Land has announced its 2023 plans for the NLS and Nürburgring 24 Hours. The outfit will take part in NLS2 and 3 as well as the legendary 24-hour race with a strong line-up.

Christopher Haase, Christopher Mies and Patric Niederhauser will share the team’s Audi R8 LMS GT3 at the endurance classic in the Eifel and in the NLS races that will be used to prepare the team for the 24-horus.

Team Joos back for third GT Masters season

Team Joos Sportwagentechnik will return to ADAC GT Masters competition 2023, and will run a brand-new 992 Porsche 911 GT3 R in its third season.

“After two successful years in the ADAC GT Masters, I am pleased that we will be lining up in the championship again this season. We feel right at home here and are sure that the series will continue to develop well this year. Our approach is obviously to go for the title again this year,” says team principal Michael Joos.

The team is expected to reveal the pair of drivers set to join the team for its campaign shortly.
