777 Hypercar, Dallara Chassis, But Not For Racing

777 are yet another entrant into the ‘other’ hypercar marketplace, for ultra-supercars designed for the track, but not for racing!

Founded by entrepreneur and collector Andrea Levy, the step into the marketplace comes courtesy of a 7 million Euro single seater machine, destined to have no more than 7 examples built with the first planned for customer delivery in 2025

777 originally revealed the programme at Monza in November 2022 with details of the single seater car, engineered by Dallara, powered by Gibson and styled by Umberto Palermo Design.

The public ‘reveal’ for the finished article came during the WEC’s visit to Monza earlier this month and from the car on display we could clearly see the parallels between the 777 and Dallara’s Cadillac and BMW – LMDh designs.

The car features an FIA-homologated carbon monocoque, aerodynamics developed by Dallara which are designed to generate 2,100 kg of downforce 370 km/h, the car weighs in at 900 kg, The engine is a derivative of Gibson’s LMP1-spec GL458, a naturally aspirated 4.5 litre V8, which develops 730 hp at 9,000 rpm, powered by synthetic fuels.

All seven customer cars will be kept permanently at 777 Motors’ Monza home where they will be kept ready for use by their owners either for track running of there own choosing, or ‘in exclusive events tailored to them throughout the year.’

Ahead of the build of the new cars, each owner will receive two pieces of equipment to enable them to begin the athletic preparation for their 2025 on-track experience.

The first is a machine designed to reinforce the neck area and better prepare it for the stresses it will be subjected to on the track (lateral accelerations from 3.5 to 4g).

The second is a professional dynamic simulator, equipped with the same steering wheel and seat as the 777 hypercar, with remote tutoring of the training sessions by Team 777 Motors.

The simulator is based on a carbon fibre chassis engineered by Dallara equipped with active seal belts, a 3 degrees of freedom motion system, a customizable seat and steering wheel.

Buyers will immediately have the opportunity to train like real professional racing drivers thanks to an individual high-performance training programme that involves the use of the Dallara Driving Simulator at Varano de’ Melegari (Italy) or Indianapolis (USA), simulators normally reserved for drivers who race in Formula 1, IndyCar and in endurance races.
